During the tour, we will be able to visit the Witches’ Garden, a place where we will learn about the different medicinal plants in our environment and their properties.

Next, we can visit one of the characters most loved by Basque girls and boys. This is the donkey Napo, the faithful friend of Olentzero, the charcoal burner in charge of bringing gifts to the txikis.

Another corner that kids like the most is the themed play park. It is a natural space of more than 6,000 square meters with a series of themed attractions, such as the Mari Cave, the Labyrinth, Tartalo or the sacred oak. Children will soak up the mythology while they play.

The oldest hamlet in Bizkaia

oldest hamlet in BizkaiaIn the center of the park, there is also the oldest hamlet in Bizkaia and one of the oldest in the Basque Country. Built in the 16th century, in 1510, it is one of the hamlets with the greatest architectural value in the area.

Inside we can contemplate the magic, myths, beliefs and rituals of a world that has already disappeared. The meaning of fire, ashes, amulets, the axe, the bread, the “eguzkilore”… are shown in an exhibition that clarifies the meaning of all these beliefs.
