Sail as a family through the history of fishing aboard the Agurtza Museum Ship in Santurtzi

Embark on a family adventure aboard the Agurtza Museum Ship, a traditional fishing boat converted into a fascinating interpretation center of fishing technique.

Walk the decks of the Agurtza and discover what life was like aboard a 20th century fishing boat. Learn about the fishing techniques for northern albacore, the work of the crew, the hard work of the machinists and the importance of women’s work on land.

In addition, the little ones will enjoy building a model of the ship in a guided activity specially designed for families.

The Agurtza Museum Ship is located in a privileged location on the Santurtzi promenade, halfway between the Fishing Port and the Bizkaia Bridge (Hanging Bridge), offering impressive views of the Abra Bay.
